Play with your Veggies! Grow your own fun recipe

I love cooking in the kitchen with my 11 year old! She is so much to work with! I gave her a red, orange, yellow and orange pepper and told her to create an appetizer for dinner! This is what she came up with! When was the last time you cooked with your kids in the kitchen?

TwitterMoms put out a challenge to revamp Hidden Valley® Flower Power Bell Peppers and Ranch Dip Recipe and make it your own! So with that in mind, Emily went to work! Have you ever done this before? If so let me know what you did! Feel free to leave links!

Here is her recipe and photos!

SPICY RANCH Dip and Flower Power Artist Veggies

Ingredients
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 bottle of Hidden Valley Spicy Ranch dressing
1 each green, red, orange and yellow peppers

Directions Mix cream cheese and dressing with a mixer. Chill until ready to serve.
Get out cutting board, knife and platter. Clean and take out seeds and core from peppers.
Start cutting and creating veggies into desired shapes!
Pour dip into half of one of the peppers (use it as your dip bowl)
Eat!

  4. Cute idea!! Kids always eat their veggies when THEY "make" them! Love it! You got a new follower--please check out my blog and do the same! Thx!
