Isabella Water Bottle Review

Isabella Water (provided information) was founded on the principle that everyone deserves clean water. The founder, Nick Ogden, is a visionary and all around smart guy. Isabella Water offers a very cool looking stainless steel water bottle that retails for $20 to encourage people to stop buying plastic bottled water.  Once someone purchases the recycled and reusable bottle, $10 of every purchase will help fund a well to provide clean water in Africa or Asia.

Across the globe, one out of every eight people does not have access to clean drinking water. This is the perfect gift for those who want to go green and help someone at the same time - perfect stocking stuffer or holiday gift for teachers, clergy, gym rats and cyclists.
My take on the product:  What a great company with an outstanding mission!  The stylish bottle is perfect for anyone trying to cut back on the use of plastic bottles.  I love that $10 of the purchase price goes to Africa or Asia to help with clean water.

Here are some water fact from their site:
*People in Africa spend over 40 billion hours a year walking for water.
*Almost a billion people, or 1 in 8, don’t have access to clean water.

*5,500 deaths can be attributed to not having access to clean water—more than hunger, war, AIDS, and natural disasters.

*The poorest households may spend up to 11% of their income on access to clean water.

* To produce plastic bottles, manufacturers use 17 million barrels of crude oil—it takes 2,000 times more energy to make plastic bottles than to make tap water.

Where can you purchase these? Check out their informative website, Isabella Water.  You can also find then on Facebook and Twitter.
