Who wants a Waterproof Smartphone? Check out Kyocera Hydro Vibe #mc #SprintMom #sponsored

How many cell phones have you had damaged before your contract was up? How about for your family? What damage did your phone get? Cracked screen? Dropped in the toilet? Did you ever wish that you had a phone that could handle a few accidents? As a Sprint Ambassador I'm excited to bring you yet another awesome phone from Sprint. This one has been tested and mom approved!  I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Sprint. I received a product sample to facilitate my review and to thank me for participating.

The newest phone that I am reviewing from Sprint is one of the most family friendly phones around. The Kyocera Hydro Vibe waterproof 4G LTE smartphone was built to withstand some of the common mistakes we all make with our phones like accidentally dropping it out of our hands or falling out of our pocket into the toilet. This phone is great for active families especially in the summer when out and about traveling, at water parks, on boats and more! I love that you have the freedom to actually take your phone near water to get those summer memory photos. I'm so ultra paranoid of my smartphone getting wet I never take it with me near water or leave it on top of the table, especially at restaurants. How about you?

The Kyocera Hydro Vibe waterproof 4G LTE Android smartphone is just the right size with simple features including a 4.5 inch qHD impact-resistant touch screen display to survive most accidents. It also includes an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and video camera. I love the long battery life on the phone, too. If you watch a lot of videos the phone is on the Sprint Spark Network which enhances the phones LTE service to give you the best high quality service. If this isn't enough features for you rest assure the phone can be completely submerged in one meter of water for up to 30 minutes.

Here is how we test drove the Kyocera Hydro Vibe:

  • Took this new phone out to dinner and left it on the table the entire time. It was really freaky to think that anytime the server could refill my drink and over pour or the glass could get knocked over.
  • I took the phone with me to the bathroom and while the water was running I dropped it 3 feet in the air into the running water. Not a scratch and the phone still worked.
  • We put the phone in a quart jar while it was on camera mode. Somehow the running water made the phone take a photo! The phone stayed on until the screen timed out. I pulled out the phone, dried it off and turned it on with no problem.

I do believe this is one of the most family friendly phones out there especially with the impact-resistant screen and waterproof capabilities. These features allow you to take the phone where ever you go, no matter what you are doing to captures all your favorite family memories. Who is ready for a little bit of peace of mind when it comes to your families smart phones?
