Product Description (provided)
Family Talk: Engage your family in colorful conversations with this award winning set of 100 portable conversation questions. Diverse topics reveal surprising answers.  Family Talk takes the dinner table conversation with you wherever you go!  Play in the car, at dinner or on vacation!  Family Talk keeps today’s busy families talking!

Ages 3+  MSRP $9.99
Our take on the product:  This is a really neat family talk game that can be played anywhere at anytime.  The deck includes 100 conversation questions attacked with an O ring.  I really love how portable it is and that it is joined together by the ring.  It makes it super easy to just toss in a travel bag and allows it to easily get passed around in the car.  The questions can be read by most readers in the car and they love when it gets passed around and given to them to read.  It is a great interactive, family game that really goes the extra step into encouraging families to talk be that in the car, on a airplane or just at home around the dinner table.

Some of the questions include:

*How would you go to the bathroom or brush your teeth if you could use only one arm?
*Describe the house of your dreams
*Where did your parents get engaged? How did they get engaged?
*What are your three most favorite things to do?
*If you named your town after your favorite food, what would it be called? Example: Pickleopolis

This product would be a perfect gift for any family on your holiday wish list.  Great, too, for teachers, day cares, babysitters, schools, etc.  Check out their website for other products, too.

Sand Gone Giveaway for Beach goers

I love taking vacations in the sand! I love the water and the warmth of the sun!  Sand in my toes? Oh yes I love that, too!  Sand stays with you the entire time you are on vacation.  If you are lucky it will follow you back home, too! The down side of sand is that it is scratchy and sometimes hard to get off.   Did you know that someone invented a product to help remove the  unwanted sand?
Product Description (provided):

Sand Gone is a dry body powder that when applied to sandy parts of your body removes the sand leaving your skin soft and smooth.  A must for beachgoers.  Works great after children after playing in the sand box. All natural ingredients smells like coconut.

Sand Gone is all natural and non-talc dry body powder. When applied to sandy parts of your body, the sand is gently removed and a soft, smooth, coconut powder is left behind.  They sell Sand Gone in 8 oz container with a powder puff to remove the sand.

My Take on the product:  This would be the perfect product to take to the beach.  Since I'm not headed there anytime soon, I appreciated Sand Gone sending me a packet of sand to try out the product!  My daughter added sand to her wet hands and then we used the powder puff and powder to remove the sand.  It gently took it off! No scratchy sand.  We both loved the smell!   This would be really great for when you need to get in  your car but  your feet are sandy.  Just pull out the puff and brush away the sand!  I can't wait to go back to Aruba and take this little container with me.
Right now you can purchase this item online at Sand Gone.  I really think this is an item that needs to be sold in gift shops and stores.  This would be wonderful to have in hotel gift shops at beach resorts!  Do you know someone going on vacation? Win this for them!

enGreet Online Greeting Card Giveaway

Sponsored by Tomoson.com

Do you like shopping for greeting cards?  I at my local stores for greeting cards.  We live in a small town and the selection is very limited.  I also do  not like paying $5 for a card that isn't "the right card."  Have  you ever purchased greeting cards online?  Ever heard of enGreet?

EnGreet is an online personalized greeting card company that allows you to search their card data base, for free, and personalize a card and they will mail it for you.  This is a great way to get the card that you want, add whatever saying that you actually want and have it mailed for you if you can't get to a post office.

I ordered 4 cards from enGreet and had them mailed directly to me.  They put my order in one big envelope.  This way I can personalize the card with my own handwriting but not have to go out and try and find the perfect card.  They were very quick with shipping, too! The cards were very professional and well made.  I loved how each artist had their own banner on the back of each card.

Product Description (provided): We carry over 2,000 cards from artists around the world for tons of occasions (from Chinese New Years to Christmas!)  We also offer numerous features such as the ability to import your Facebook Friend's birthdays, include a Gift Card inside your card, and schedule your card to be sent at anytime.  You can even upload a spreadsheet of all of your friends and mail a card to them in a click of a mouse (think holiday cards).

I found out that you can be an artist for enGreet! I opened up an artist account and hope to start adding cards in the New Year!  What a great way to earn some extra cash!

Easiest Crockpot Potato Soup Recipe

We love potato soup in this house. Over the years I have made a lot of different recipes but this one is our favorite. It is also one of the easiest to make! I cook it in the crockpot but you could just as easy make it on the stove top. I make most of my soups in the crockpot. How about you?

Easiest Potato Soup

(This recipe is for a 7 quart crock pot)

Ingredients

Approx. 7 lbs potatoes, peeled and chopped
Approx. 3 quarts chicken stock or water (after adding in all the veggies add the liquid. The crockpot should be just a little over 3/4 full to cook. If needed, you can add extra stock at the end when you add the half and half.)

4 stalks celery, chopped
2 medium onions, chopped
1 Tbsp celery seed
1/4 c. chives
2 tsp pepper
2 small bags of garlic potato flakes
1 quart half and half

Directions

1-Add all of the ingredients into the crockpot except the potato flakes and half and half.
2-Let cook on high for 6 hours.  (Can cook on low 8-10 hours)
3-Right before serving, whisk in potato flakes and then add half and half.  Your crock pot will be very full!

Serve! Top with cheese or Skillet Bacon Spread or both! Yummy!  This soup freezes great!

Accutire Programmable Digital Tire Gauge Giveaway

Sponsored by Tomoson.com

Do you ever check the pressure in your tires before a trip? We do, well actually my husband does.  It seems confusing to me.  How about you?  Don't you wish you had a tire gauge that you actually understood? Tires that are properly inflated will increase MPG, vehicle stability, and make tires last longer.

Check out this one:

Product description on the Accutire Programmable Digital Tire Gauge:  Accutire’s programmable digital tire gauge is an easy-to-use, multi-featured gauge with an extra large, blue, back-lit LCD screen and ergonomic styling. It measures PSI from 5-99 pounds in 0.5-pound units, and includes the patent-protected Set Point programmable feature which allows for recording the factory-recommended tire pressure for both front and rear tires. Other helpful features include a white LED flashlight to make checking tire pressure at night or in the garage a cinch; an audible pressure signal; auto off; and a five-year manufacturer warranty.

My take on the product:  This is a very cool gadget that will help make your tires last longer because you can easily program the tire gauge to the recommended PSI and check them whenever you are going to travel or whenever you are concerned with your tires.  The digital reading is easy to understand and very accurate.  This little hot product also comes with a 5 year warranty and a LED white flashlight to make it easy to check the pressure in the dark!  NOW those two features are great! This would make a great present for anyone on your Christmas shopping list (well those who own a car :)
