Top Referring Sites for October

My blogger friend, Kelli over at 3 Boys and A Dog does a monthly Blogger Appreciation Day and I decided to join in this month. Below are the steps from Kelli.

Here is the scoop:

*Go into your tracking service (I use Google Analytics) and set the time period for September 1st – September 30th.

*Find the sites that have referred readers to you and put them in order from most sends to lowest.

*Write a post (like this one) listing your top 10 referrers.

*Grab the Blogger Appreciation Day picture and add it to your site or post. (Get that over at 3 Boys and a Dog)

*Link that post up over at 3 Boys and a Dog and hop around and see the stats of other bloggers.
It really is quite interesting to see how people get to your blog.

It is really cool to check your blog stats. I had 363 different referring sources this month which is an increase from 328 last month. This was my highest ever. Here is last month.

My blog stats have been really strange the past month. I went up 100,000 in Alexa Ranking (it should go down not up) but I know that I haven't spent a lot of time visiting and leaving comments. Mostly I go and read and link up, find new blogs to follow and move on.

I'm making it my goal for October to leave more comments. Even though my stats changed my visit and page counts are way up (that is good) so who really knows what is going on. I'm posting the same as usual, too.
