Happy #NationalFitnessDay Challenge Tips for a Healthier Lifestyle

Are you happy with your health? Your weight? I doubt anyone is ever 100% satisfied but wouldn't it great to be at least 90% or higher? 

I've been on a healthier lifestyle journey for over 2 1/2 years and if I would have asked myself those questions before I started I would have answer ... 
  1. NO I am not happy with my health. I was on the verge of needing high blood pressure meds and diabetes meds.
  2. My weight was the highest I had ever send it and it was going up and up and up.
  3. I would have said that I was 0% happy with my healthy and weight.
TODAY 2 1/2 years later here are my answers....
  1. I am SO HAPPY with my HEALTH! I've never felt or been healthier in my entire life.
  2. I'm 100% satisfied (ok really like 99%) with my current weight. It is the lowest in 20 years and I'm buying clothes in sizes that I wore before I was married 21 years ago. I am NOT where I think my weight should be but work on it daily.
  3. I am 100% satisfied with my health and weight which is an ongoing journey to keep it there and to improve daily

YES people get started today and in one year you will be saying the same thing. 

Today is National Fitness Day! I challenge you to

#1-Do something today to move around more. Go for a walk, hike, swim. It doesn't have to be much if you are just starting out.

#2 Follow my blog's Facebook page as I'm sharing post there all day long on tips to get you started or to inspire you

#3 Follow my MakeTime for a Healthier Lifestyle Group on Facebook for some good discussions on getting fit & eating better
