Car seat Check Saturday for Safety!

Did you know:

- 3 out of 4 carseats are not installed as they should be, putting children at risk.

- This Saturday, Sept. 12th, is "Seat Check Saturday," and NHTSA is asking all parents using a child safety seat to have their installation checked at one of the centers available across the country.

Visit www.nhtsa.gov/carseatcheck to find the nearest installation center to you!

Disclosure statement: Amy Lupold Bair, founder of Momfluence, is acting on behalf of NHTSA's child passenger safety efforts. The majority of this post was information I received to post on my blog. Thank you Amy! Thanks to all who twittered and learned more. Another twitter party/ Q&A will be held on Thursday, Sept. 17th from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. ET. Officials from NHTSA will be on hand to answer any child passenger safety questions. Also, we want to see how much people have learned this week! We will be asking questions of the party-goers and ten correct answers will receive a prize.
