Salmon Patty with SeaBear Salmon

I love a good Salmon or Crab patty! I'm very picky when ordering from a restaurant or making at home. I don't like a fishy taste. I like chunky, flaky meat. I also want my patty to be moist on the inside and crisp on the outside. So with those guidelines, I'm always searching for a salmon that is just right to use for my recipe.

Just recently I was sent a sample of SeaBear Ready to Eat Wild Salmon to try in my recipe. It was a huge hit and perfect for my recipe. The meat was the right texture, very moist and not fishy.

Salmon Patty

1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped
2 tablespoons mayo
1 tablespoon chopped mango or peach
1 teaspoon chopped pineapple
1/4 teaspoon finely chopped lemon rind
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 packages SeaBear Wild Sockeye Salmon Pouches

1) In a food processor, pulse together all the ingredients, except salmon.
2) Add salmon and mix quickly.
3) Divide mixture into 2-4 patties, depending on the size you want.
4) Grill on medium heat 10-12 minutes, flipping once.
